Prep V battled the wind and rain to arrive at the Conway Centre in Anglesey this morning. On arrival, we were greeted by Mr. Rooney and the staff who will be looking after us over the two days. We were shown to our base where we ate our lunch before going to our rooms where the task of bed making seemed a challenge for some.

Dressed in waterproof clothing, we headed to the first activity which was woodland challenge, the low ropes and a zip line. Team work was required to succeed in these challenges.  Well done to Harrison who was brave enough to give the zip line a try with help from his friends.

Tea was needed where we joined Prep VI for a variety of choices. Poppy next led the way through the Nightline activity. On went the eye mask goggles, a hand on the person’s shoulder in front and one on the rope. Prep V went bravely through obstacles using only their ears and touch.

Shop time was great fun, before the children had a play on the field, then showered and put on their Pyjamas ready for watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory which has started as we are writing this blog post.

Let’s hope for a good night’s sleep before a busy day ahead.
