After an excellent nights sleep (yes the teachers were shocked) and after a hearty cooked breakfast Prep V were ready for their final challenge….the Zip line and low ropes. Once we had all our safety gear on and checked we all worked as a team to support each other as we took a ‘leap of faith’ over the edge and whizzed through the air. Marcel wowed us with his Spider-Man impression and Isabelle’s singing as she sped down was something to behold. Please don’t believe the rumours that Mrs. Davies screamed the loudest!

We finished off with some fun on the low ropes obstacle course. Again we relied on teamwork to help us across. It was fantastic to see how well the children worked together and this sets us up for a great year ahead.

As we depart after lunch a special mention must go to Roshan who after sustaining an injury to his ankle a few days before our trip, has been able to partake in every activity with a few adaptations made by the excellent course instructors. He was an inspiration to us all and the care his friends have shown him by helping him out in every way have made us teachers very proud of them all.

I am sure a good nights sleep is ahead for us all dreaming of the fun we have had.

Day 2: Prep V on the ropes (and not just Mrs. Davies!)
