Every child in Prep started our 700 metres in 7 days challenge today with great gusto and excitement.
The children have started learning in class about the great friendship between Rob Burrows and Kevin Sinfield and how MND changed their lives forever in different ways making their bond even stronger.
Prep I and Prep IV started the day off in their PE lessons in cloudy, damp conditions. The weather rapidly changed in to a hot afternoon which had the rest of the department searching for their drinks bottles soon after.
It was a great effort from everyone which I am sure will impress Sir Kevin when we tell him about our seven days of running and learning on 2nd October.
Joe in Prep VI had a lovely idea of all his class and Prep V finishing the run together which was reminiscent of Sir Kevin carrying his friend over the finish line. Well done Joe!
Keep going everyone!
