Prep IV boarded the coach full of excitement for their trip to the Conway Centre on the banks of stunningly beautiful Menai Straights in Anglesey.

The views of the beaches and sea are wonderful on the A55 but alas these views literally passed
the children by as they chatted enthusiastically about their adventures to come.

We arrived at the centre in good time and enjoyed our school packed lunch before heading to the climbing wall hidden away in the Kelvin Stables. Harnesses were tightened and ropes were held firm as the first children made their way up. The teaching  staff were amazed at the desire and determination shown by all the children. Most made it to the top and others were very close.

We ate our wonderful evening meal soon after which was plentiful and devoured by the Bridgewater children who had certainly developed an appetite !

We then headed to the shop which is always the highlight for the teaching staff…. ‘Wow that was cheap.’ Said one boy. Another satisfied customer!

On to the nightlife activity which encourages team work and communication skills. After a shaky start the children were outstanding overcoming and tricky course without any eye sight. Their Minnion goggles were a sight to behold as the children crawled and weaved through the course.

Well done Prep IV you have been magnificent today. We look forward to tomorrow!
