Winning week for netballers

Our Prep IV, V and VI girls’ netball players have been in action this week. The Prep VI girls won 11-0 against Moorside, playing some fantastic netball with great defensive interceptions and fast attacking play. Player of the Match chosen by the opposition was a well deserved Florence, and Mrs. Tunney’s player of the match went to Hannah, who was very strong all game. 

A mixed Prep IV and V team beat Branwood 6-3 in their first competitive netball match of the season. We had some nervous, excited girls before the match, but they played some great netball and worked really hard as a team. This is a developing team who will continue to improve.  A big well done to Poppy who was awarded Player of the Match by the opposing team and Rose, who was awarded Mrs. Tunney’s Player of the Match.
