Making their Maths knowledge count!

Recently, nine children from Prep V and VI took part in the Primary Maths Challenge. This is a challenge where the children have to answer twenty five very difficult maths questions, testing their knowledge on all areas of the subject. For most children, this was their first experience taking part, and with little preparation time, the children did extremely well. Well done to Prep VI’s Raj, Adam, Kevin, and Hannah, and Prep V’s Daniel, David, Oliver, Angel and Alexander.

The scores were extremely close this year, with the children performing exceptionally well. Special mentions go to Raj, who claimed a Bronze certificate, and Oliver and Adam, who both achieved Silvers.

David scored a very high 20 out 25 to achieve a Gold certificate – he is now waiting to find out if he will be selected for the bonus round next February. Watch this space!
