Reception and Prep IV Reading Buddies

This week, Reception Class was lucky enough to be visited by Prep IV for the first of our Buddy Reading sessions. The Reception children eagerly shared their new library books and enjoyed listening to the older pupils read to them. They also loved discussing the stories together before taking part in some tricky word-hunt challenges set by the Prep IV students.

The session provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their literacy skills while also building confidence and strengthening their communication skills.

All of the students are already looking forward to the next Buddy Reading session!
