Our U11 boys’ football team took part in the ISA 5-a-side football tournament on Friday. In a strong start, the boys won their group easily with four wins out of four.

Against Lady Barn in the quarter final, they eased through to a 4-0 victory. That win, whatever the final outcome of their next games, secured them a place in the Nationals at St. George’s Park later in the year. A very physical game against Huddersfield Grammar ensued in the semi-final, with our boys eventually edged out 1-0. Despite this loss, the team will still represent the North at the Nationals later in the year.

Well done boys!

I really enjoyed the day out. It was unlucky we missed out but cannot wait for Nationals next week!

It was an amazing experience to play there but to play at St George’s park is even better.
