Prep V have been looking at portraits of Queen Victoria, and trying to work out why some are paintings and some are photographs. They looked closely at half of the portraits and lightly sketched in the other half. Is it harder to work with photographs or paintings? The children tried to work out if the portraits are a reliable source of evidence to learn about characters. Also, did Queen Victoria have a sense of humour? She never seems to smile! We hope you like our regal gallery.
