While we often celebrate success within school, we love to hear about the success of our students outside of school. We were particularly delighted, therefore, to hear about Olivia’s basketball exploits. Her team, the U12 Manchester Mystics (Olivia is playing a year up!) went through the whole season undefeated – not only all the league games, but also this weekend’s semi-final and final playoff matches. In front of a 200+ strong crowd, Olivia’s all round skills saw her team to the victory they deserved! Well done Olivia.
Basketball success for Olivia
That weekend was full of nerves and excitement. When my team won the semi-finals we were all jumping and shouting with joy but when we won the finals there was double the jumping and shouting. We had our presentation with medals and hope we do the same next year!
