We were delighted to learn recently that Izabella used her experiences in our Junior Gardening Club to achieve her Grow Your Own badge in her local Brownie troop. Izabella had to design her own garden and say what plants she would use and why. Her entry for the Radio 2 Big Bee Challenge exactly matched those criteria – and while it did not make the final competition winners, it was an excellent design (you can see some of these here). Izabella has been an active member of the Junior Gardening Club for the last two years, and so has been able to sow and raise plants, and know what they need to thrive, amongst other things, and so her knowledge clearly matched the requirements for her badge. Well done Izabella! Keep gardening!
