A bit of bright Kandinsky for the New Year

It might be a cold and gloomy start to the New Year, but today Prep I continued their digital artwork topic in Computing and embraced the bright cheery colours of Kandinsky’s work. Using their keyboard skills, the children tried to replicate his 1913 Squares with Concentric Circles painting. Circles are difficult at the best of times, on a computer they are even harder, but we think the children have made a wonderful effort to replicate and improve on the original!

You can see the original here: https://www.wassilykandinsky.net/work-370.php but we think ours are just as good!
