Our Junior Gardening Club is very proud today to have received our Level 3 RHS School Gardening Award.  To achieve this, we have: shown how we have built on our practical skills and prepared areas ready for planting; continued to grow a simple range of fruits, vegetables and flowers; demonstrated how we encourage wildlife to the garden by providing homes and habitats; and have re-used as many things as we can and have begun to understand composting.

Together with our new Level 3 certificate, which will be displayed on our garden, we have received a Rocket Gardens voucher.  This company will deliver a series of three boxes brimming with vegetable and fruit plug plants during the forthcoming school year.  These will certainly keep our garden brimming with plants and keep our enthusiastic young gardeners busy!

Don’t forget you can see the Gardening Club’s lacewing-based garden at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park this summer between 17th and 21st July.
