Friday 26th April – ISA Netball competition
The Junior Netball team participated in the ISA competition last Friday. The team gained a mix of results in pool B and finished 4/6 resulting in them being in the Shield play off competition.
They played the Grange school and won 4-0 in the semi-final and then played Loretto Prep School in the final and won 3-2 in extra time. They therefore were the shield winners and came 5th overall in the tournament.
The team were: Allegra, Thea, Yasmeen, Molly, Jasmine, Abigail and Esme
Wednesday 1st May
The U9 & U11 team travelled to Branwood to play two netball fixtures. The U9 team had a very competitive fixture with end to end play. The team rotated through different positions playing high 5 and despite having a few chances, they lost 0-1 but played very well.
The U11 match was 2-2 at half time and the team were looking very strong. Changes at half time meant we struggled to score in the second half and we lost 2-7. Player of the match was awarded to Anya.
