The U11 Netball team entered the ISA Netball tournament on Monday 4th March. We were in pool B and faced five very competitive schools. First up were the Grange (who ended up as tournament winners) and although we had two good shooting opportunities we couldn’t stop their very fast attack. Our closest game was against Scarisbrick Hall where Allegra scored for us in the first few minutes. Despite losing all five games, the whole squad showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship earning us the Fair Play Award! Three girls were shortlisted for player of the tournament- Dina, Gabrielle and Allegra but Mrs Davies chose Gabrielle for some outstanding defense in each game as she faced some very experienced shooters. Well done to all the girls involved, the standard was very high and the girls should be proud of their performances.
