Dante’s Rosh Hashana

Jewish New Year, or Rosh Hashana, is celebrated from 20th to 22nd September.

In Prep VI,  Dante Mattana brought in apples for us to dip in honey as part of his celebration.

As you can see, this went down very well with the class AND proved to be a delicious healthy breaktime snack.

By the way, 22nd September is also the Autumnal Equinox!

What is that?

What does it mean?

If you can find out , come and  tell Mr Grant (because he likes science! )
