This week, our Prep V and VI athletes proudly represented the school at the AJIS Athletics Championships, competing against 17 other independent schools. Our pupils delivered outstanding performances across a range of events.
Highlights included:
- Alex securing 3rd place in the 150m,
- Jerry earning 2nd place in the 80m sprint,
- Isabelle placing 3rd in the throwing event,
- Florence achieving a personal best in the high jump,
- The Prep VI boys’ relay team qualifying for the final.
Congratulations to all our athletes for their dedication, effort, and sportsmanship throughout the day. We were fortunate to complete all events before the rain arrived, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day of competition and team spirit.

I really enjoyed this final opportunity in Prep to go to this athletics competition. I did not expect to earn a medal but I was really proud of myself for coming 3rd in the throwing event.
