Over the last few months, it has been hard for Mummies to come into school but we had our first one in a classroom for some time yesterday afternoon as Prep IV experienced a hands on approach to the life of the ancient Egyptians. For the record, Layla was released from her bandages before the end of the day! The children spent an exciting afternoon looking at Egyptian artefacts, learning how the dead were treated, playing games and finding out about some of the clothes Egyptians would have worn, amongst other things. Ancient Egypt brought to life!
