Two teams were entered into the local heat of the Quiz Club National General Knowledge Competition this year. Today, eight Prep pupils travelled to Lady Barn House School in Cheadle for a very exciting morning of quizzing and made Mrs. Seward and Mrs. Hadgianni extremely proud. The quiz questions covered a range of topics and were very challenging but Bridgewater 1st Team was at the top of the leader board for most of the competition and the 2nd team was not far behind. The competition was strong and the host team managed to take the lead during the final minutes. Nevertheless, Bridgewater was the second highest scoring school in the heat and, as such, there is still a possibility that we have done enough to gain a place in the semi-final. We will have to wait until April to find out so watch this space!
