Yesterday we were delighted to welcome a representative from the local branch of the Royal British Legion to our school. Mr Croston surprised us with the presentation of a shield in recognition of funds raised by our school community for this year’s Poppy Appeal. Thank you to everyone who contributed, together we raised over £500. Head Girl and Boy Florence and Olly received the award from Mr. Croston on behalf of the school – in the lead up to Remembrance, it was these two who visited classes to encourage poppy sales. Well done both.
