Thirty-two runners disappeared into the muddy depths of Worsley Woods this lunchtime, led by Mr. Grant and Mr. Connolly. Although dry, it was very muddy underfoot – surprisingly, only two trainers were sucked into the quagmire at various stages on the run! With Mr. Suter bringing up the rear to ensure no children were left behind for the bears, our intrepid runners were taken on a long circuitous route through the woods. Not easy, but well done to all our runners who battled the conditions and made it round, especially for our younger runners and their shorter legs!
Oh, and apologies for the washing that will need to be done at home this evening…
