The hint of inclement weather on Friday morning did nothing to deter Prep VI as they ventured out into Worsley village to uncover its rich industrial heritage. Starting on Worsley Green – the location that kick started Britain’s industrial revolution – the classes explored Worsley as part of their local history unit, visiting buildings throughout the village and finding out about their links with the past.
