The children in Prep Five have been busy making river models ready for our new Geography topic. As well as displaying an excellent range of geographical vocabulary, the children’s work shows great imagination and ingenuity, with containers ranging from a biscuit tin to a cheese box. Our materials have been raided from various sources including gardens and toy boxes, and  in one case from  kitchen cupboards, as Emma’s model is made entirely from cake, complete with marshmallow clouds (where else would the precipitation descend from in such a culinary triumph?!)

If you need to know anything about a river’s journey from its source to the sea, please come and look at our geographical works of art, which we look forward to displaying proudly on open day.
