A group of 26 Prep V and VI children, having undertaken in-school trials during the last week, travelled to Fleetwood to take part in the AJIS cross country championships at Rossall School. It was a blustery day, but fortunately the rain held off as our runners tackled the challenging course. While we did not trouble the scoreboard quite as much as we would have liked – although Charlie Gray came 14th in the Year 6 boys race – all the children who represented the school performed well and enjoyed our afternoon on the coast.
