Prep V’s Charlie is our resident football superstar to be. Our current crop of England players have proved to be a bit of a damp squib, so we have high hopes of Charlie’s future. He’s currently an academy player with Manchester City (we won’t tell them that he’s a Manchester United supporter!) and has had an extremely successful season with their U10 and U11 sides. This season, Charlie and his teams have played in seven tournaments, winning five of them. Along the way, he has beaten youth teams from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, Ajax, Roma, and Juventus, among others. Well done to Charlie – watch out for him in the future.
