It’s been a good week for our Prep sports teams. On Tuesday, our Prep V and VI Rounders team were outstanding playing against Clarendon Cottage. The team worked well together, both batting and fielding, winning by 19½ half rounders to 4. Christian was a well-deserved player of the match, scoring some great rounders and being a consistently good bowler. Noah did some fantastic hitting, scoring many rounders for the team.
Prep IV girls had a good go against a strong Prep V Rishworth team. We had a few chances to score a goal but luck wasn’t on our side. It was a great opportunity for the girls to have a competitive match ready for next year. Ameerah was awarded player of the match.
The Prep VI girls played their last ever Prep netball match, and showed their ability by winning comfortably in their game against Rishworth, playing some fantastic netball in the process. The girls have all improved immensely since they first starting playing in Prep IV and that progression showed. Florence was awarded player of the match. Mrs Tunney will miss them so much and is so proud of all of them.

Well done to all the teams! I really enjoyed playing rounders for a change. I am very proud of us all who were in the netball team. I am sad that it was our last match together but we finished strong! 🙂
