On Friday, the whole of Prep supported Children in Need in pulsating style with every class having one minute during our assembly to try and add to their Bearpees total. Bearpees totals have been added to in recent weeks, with Prep I and IV in particular keen to top the leader board and win Mrs. Tunney’s class prize of breaktime toast! Amid great excitement (and much to Mrs. Davies’s disappointment!) Prep IV were declared Bearpee champions – but a massive well done to all children within the department who completed several hundred Bearpees between them.

Several of our pupils – Prep V’s Beatrice, Edie in Prep III and Prep VI’s Emily didn’t finish their fundraising activities there. They also took part in this year’s Tapathon with a new performance at the Trafford Centre’s Orient on Sunday.

The Tapathon is an annual nationwide tap-dancing event, with the dual purpose of raising money for Children in Need and attempting to set a new world record by getting as many people as possible tap dancing at the same time across the country.

The girls have dance lessons at the Miss Joanne Farnell School of Dancing, and the school is one of many that took part nationally.

Well done girls!
