Friday 4th February was NSPCC Number Day and to celebrate in school we held a ‘Rockstar Day’ where the children dressed up as rock stars linked in with our TTRockstars Times Table program.
Each class were involved in fun Maths and number activities in their classroom during the day and the day ended with a special assembly where some children took part in games, prizes were awarded to children who have made good progress with their number work and times tables and to those who have outstanding achievement. We also awarded the best dressed in each class and Prep V won the effort prize for an excellent effort to use their TTRockstar accounts to help learn their times table facts. We were even treated to a special performance by our very own ‘Rockstar’ Mr Grant on his guitar.
A fun day was had by all and we raised over £180 for the NSPCC.
