Last Saturday saw a number of enthusiastic Prep children turn out for the third in the Salford Schools cross country series. Wherever they placed in the final positions, it is evident that our runners are constantly improving, and those who turned up on Saturday morning should be pleased with their efforts.
Special mention must go to Amelia in Prep V, who finished 13th in the Year 5/6 race, and to Isabelle and Florence who finished 11th and 16th in the Year 3/4 race.
Maia has been our standout athlete in this race series, and once again she finished 2nd behind the girl who beat her last time – but she is getting closer! We have high hopes for her for the final race in the series in January.
Once again, a great turn out – especially the Prep V boys – and a great overall performance from everyone. Well done!
