Along with the rest of the country, Bridgewater has been gripped by election fever today as all of our children, right through from Kindergarten to Prep VI, have been deciding on who will be our new Head Girl and Head Boy for 2019-2020.

The election process started in Prep V, where fourteen prospective candidates pitched their ideas to their classmates.  Prep V voted, to decide who the final four candidates for each position would be.  After lunch, the whole school were treated to a very professional and well delivered set of election speeches from the candidates, outlining their reasons for wanting to do the job next year.  What an extremely difficult decision then for everyone to decide who to vote for.

But vote they have, and it is with bated breath now that we wait for Mr. Rooney to complete the count and deliver the result in tomorrow’s achievement assembly.  Watch this space!
