Prep V had a fantastic day out at Quarry Bank Mill. They acted in role as child apprentices, writing with slate tiles. They got to explore the dormitory room and Thomas and Matthew had to empty out the chamber pot! Next they had a full Victorian medical examination, which they mostly passed with flying colours. In the afternoon they experienced a guided tour of the mill and saw the machines in action. Some of the children had a go at the tasks the Victorian children would have performed. Luckily, none of the children had to receive any Victorian punishments!
