Prep V reinforced their learning about the Earth, Sun and Moon with a visit to Spaceport in Liverpool. The children became virtual space explorers as they experienced a 360 degree, Space Dome Show, learning how an astronaut is trained and the dangers they face in space. They also got to enjoy a Space Ride simulator, test gravity, explore magnetic fields and witness the power of the vortex. In addition, they got to launch their own rockets – not quite into space, but certainly to the roof of the building!
