What a gloriously colourful day our World Book Day celebrations were here at Bridgewater today. The children (and staff) across all our Prep classes today brought a variety of costumes of their favourite book characters in for our celebrations. Miss Gill judged the winners of our ‘Best Dressed’ competition as each class paraded their costumes – the winners can be seen below (remember, you can click the gallery to see bigger versions of all the pictures). Every child then competed in a World Book Quiz to test their reading knowledge. Well done to everyone for their efforts, especially Miss Gill who organised the day!

It was fun to dress up as book characters. And seeing other peoples costumes. Doing the quiz was fun as well.
