Radio 2’s Chris Evans runs an annual 500 words story writing competition, and this year all pupils from Prep I to Prep VI were encouraged to enter. Children wrote their stories in class, and then typed and entered the Radio 2 competition from home. What happens there is out of anyone from Bridgewater’s hands.
However, before they went home, all the stories were reviewed by a select panel of teachers who decided on the best entries from each class. All the winners won a prize of a book, awarded by Miss Gill. Well done to Dexter, Tobias, Alfie, Star, Stanley and Eoghan, who are pictured below. If you want to read their stories, you can see them on the wall downstairs in the Prep building.
