A team of 28 children from Prep V and VI travelled to the Robin Park Indoor centre in Wigan for the Association of Junior Independent Schools (AJIS) Indoor Sportshall Atheltics Championships.  The experience of a large well organised event with over 28 competing schools was a good one for our students, as was the experience of seeing the quality of athletes on show.  While not every student may have won a medal, every student tried their best and there were many fine margins between success and not so successful – Samuel Ashadu, for example, missed out on a medal by 0.14 seconds in the individual 3 lap race.  Well done to all our athletes for trying their best.

Performance of the day goes to Imran Balogun of Prep V, who came first in the one lap sprint.  Well done!
