On Friday 20th November a group of ten children from Prep V and VI were selected to take part in the Primary Maths Challenge. This is a nationwide challenge for pupils who want to get involved in some interesting and stimulating mathematics. It is a test with multiple-choice problems and is aimed at the top 60% of pupils in Years 5 and 6 in England and Wales.

The children worked hard with Mrs. Davies in the weeks leading up to the challenge and even put in extra hours homework to practise the style of questions that were likely to come up.

Huge congratulations to Sunyul Koo who achieved our Gold certificate, scoring an impressive 19/25, narrowly missing out on a place in the finals round in February. This was closely followed by Macey Carroll and Hayden Sackfield who received Silver certificates and Mark Liu Bronze. Well done to all the children who took part.
