Twenty eight children from Prep V and Prep VI travelled up to Fleetwood to compete in the Association of Junior Independent Schools (AJIS)  cross country event hosted by Rossall School.  After an uneventful journey, we arrived and the Prep V boys were straight into their race, followed quickly by the Prep V girls, and then the Prep VI boys and girls.  While we didn’t trouble the overall scores, Charlie came 11th in the Prep V boys race.  In a race that is normally held in blustery, wet conditions, it was a pleasure for our runners to experience a bit of sunshine besides the sea.
